What we Believe...
Generally, Congregational churches have a broadly orthodox faith commitment, believing in God
as a Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It is believed the Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who has uniquely revealed to humanity as much of His nature as they are able to accept. It is held that Jesus died on the cross to reveal fully the length to which the love of God goes, and that He rose from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.
By His death on the cross, it is held that full atonement is made for the sins of humankind.
God accepts that sacrifice and is willing to forgive us.
It is believed the Holy Spirit is powerfully available to those who place their trust in God,
and that He is present in worship and witness.
